A Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence Marks July 4th

The Daily Report shared the following:

Members of the Gainesville-Northeastern Circuit Bar Association plan to celebrate the 4th of July holiday with a public reading of the Declaration of Independence.

Trial lawyers, defense attorneys, prosecutors, judges and law clerks will take turns reading the document outside the Hall County Courthouse. The event – a first for the local bar — is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Kenyon Plaza, a spot named in memory of the late Hall County Superior Court Judge A.R. Kenyon.
